Davey was bored, and on a Saturday of all days. It was possibly the worst day to even admit to boredom really. It didn't speak volumes of his social life, that was for sure. And aspects like that were important to him. He liked being able to constantly have somewhere to be or someone to hang out with. On most days, he did. But, today, he spent it at the mall. It was no different than dozens of Saturdays he'd had in years prior. He was the type of boy that liked shopping. Because, he liked to have. And the only way to have anything he wanted was to go and get it. And he was completely equipped to have whatever came his way. His mother's credit card was a pretty nice perk, if he didn't say so himself.
He hadn't bought anything yet, actually uncertain of what exactly he wanted. It could be anything that caught his eye. The shopping centre was filled with anything that he could possibly want. There was no lack of shops, both expensive and not expensive. It was just a matter of finding what he wanted. Alone, he pulled his phone from his pocket and scrolled through his message inbox as if something was going to change. Everyone must have been busy because he'd been trying to get someone to hang out with for the better half of the day.
With his eyes on the phone, instead of anything around him, he wound up slamming straight into somebody from behind. It stopped him abruptly, but luckily wasn't with enough force to knock anyone over. That would've been embarrassing! Still, he quickly regained composure and looked to see who it could've been. He doubted he'd even know the person. London was just too big.

Kori was pretty bored this Saturday. And since the 19 year old wasn't from around here, she didn't exactly know anyone. She was from New York. And she wasn't exactlly a girl with money. The only reason she was able to go to college out here was because she had gotten a full scolarship.
She was brought back into reality when someone slammed into her. Luckily, she was able to regain her compossure without falling over. Kori looked up at the other boy, but didn't say anything right away.

When Davey got a good look at the girl, he couldn't help but smirk a little bit. She was cute! He couldn't help that his mind went instantly to how she looked. He was a guy and sometimes, he couldn't help his thoughts. "Sorry," He said, slipping the phone into his pocket quickly. He didn't have any use for it now, besides it wasn't like anyone was bothering to contact him.
An apology was pretty rare for Davey. He could rarely be caught actually saying it to anybody. But, right now, it didn't hurt any and it couldn't be used against him. She just looked like she might be nice. And even though he hadn't heard a word from her and didn't know who the girl was, he was basing everything on appearance.

Kori smiled, sweetly. "It's cool. No one got hurt." It wouldn't hurt to be nice, right? She really was a nice girl. Unless you pissed her off. Then you may wanna watch it. But this was an accident. If it was on purpose, well, then that would be different. "I'm Kori."

"Davey," It wasn't that he was mean to everyone all the time! He didn't even consider himself to be mean at all. There were some people that fell victim to his attitude, but he did like having friends. Most of the time, it was his vindictive streak that hurt people. He hated being hurt himself, and so once he was offended, he tended to get back at them even worse.
He liked to have fun, and having fun didn't involve being mean to people. Just to people that deserved to be teased, and she didn't look like some loser that had just crawled out of Geeks-R-Us. "American?" He asked, picking up on her accent immediately. He heard a lot of different accents around London, and he figured he wasn't too bad at picking them up. Besides, he had dated an American for a while, so he considered himself able to identify it quickly.

Nodding slightly, she replied, "Yeah. I'm from New York." She left out the part saying that she lived in the bronx. She loved where she was from, but you needed to, had to, be street smart, and learn to stand up for yourself. It was a pretty bad, pretty dangerous neighborhood to live in.
"I'm here because I just started college. This is actually my first time in London." Kori spoke.

"Cool, New York. Never been." He hadn't travelled all that much, although he had every intention of doing it one day. He wanted to see the world and to be a part of it. While most of his activities revolved around school, clubbing and partying, he did have dreams. He just hadn't had the will to follow them just yet.
"I'm in college too," He said, giving a bit of a grin. "So, how do you like it so far?" He asked, just curious. He had heard plenty of people's opinions on London and he just wondered what she thought about it so far.
